FAQ

  • What does “on panel” mean?
The panel, or wood panel, is quarter-inch-thick birch luan which is framed up on the back with one-by-two wood strips, making the painting about 1½” deep. It looks just like a painting on canvas, and has hanging hardware on the back. Many artists today paint on wood panel; sometimes they have frames and sometimes they do not.
  • How do I get my painting(s)?
The artist will plan to personally deliver as many paintings as possible and will work with you to set up a mutually convenient delivery time. Paintings may also be picked up at the studio in Bon Air, VA. Shipping is very expensive, but a quote for shipping can be given by request using the contact form, or by emailing terriepowersart@gmail.com.
  • Do you do commissioned pieces?
On occasion. Please use the contact form or email terriepowersart@gmail.com to start a conversation.
